Irrigation: Science, Art and Measuring for Success

Thom Nikolai, Ph.D., of Michigan State and MSU research assistant Nancy Dykema discuss basic soil science concepts including: field capacity, saturation, plant available water, soil moisture content, histosols and subsidence and will relate them to the real world techniques used to determine proper irrigation replacement.
