Programmatic approaches to weed control in managed turfgrass systems

Jay McCurdy, Ph.D., assistant professor and extension specialist at Mississippi State University presents a research update concerning prevention and control of annual bluegrass, goosegrass and other troublesome turfgrass weeds. 

His presentation focuses on practical, programmatic approaches for year-round weed control. Strategies that he shares include increased reliance upon cultural practices and including multiple active ingredients for pre- and post-emergence weed control.
