Good stuff, Frank and Paul.
Maintaining personal well-being (especially emotional-psychological) has been the biggest challenge for me in the decade since I hit 50. Getting blindsided by three external events (including the death of my father) back in the early 2000s put me into a tailspin that was a long and arduous road to recovery.
Our society (and, arguably, our industry) doesn’t always look kindly on those displaying a “sensitive” side. Kudos to you (and Dave Wilber, among others) for talking about it, and showing that it certainly doesn’t hurt… quite the contrary, in fact.
Reminder for those who are not yet members of TurfNet. We have an entire Conference category on Health, Fitness and Wellness in the TurfNet Forum. Members share ideas and techniques and encourage one another in many of the areas mentioned in this podcast.
Well done Frank and Paul. One of the most helpful things TurfNet has done for the industry.
